Dakota Soifer is our [Upstairs] chef.He designs the [Upstairs] menu and prepares each dish with incredible passion. He has brought a new level of energy and enthusiasm to The Kitchen.
Dakota Soifer graduated with a bachelor of Architecture degree from CU, and dabbled in the kitchen of some of Dave Query’s restaurants throughout his time in Boulder.It was in San Francisco that Dakota’s culinary career really took off.He learned how to master the mesquite grill and wood oven at Judy Rodger’s, Zuni Café.Dakota soon moved slightly north near Napa and worked as the executive chef at Dean and Deluca.Dakota’s last job before joining our kitchen was in Napa at Julia’s Kitchen.There was three acres of herbs and produce gardens on site and he was learning under chef Victor Scargle, a James Beard Nominee.
While Dakota's love of cooking grew, he missed climbing and having the mountains at his doorstep. He found his way back to Boulder and into The Kitchen.
