Germany and Belgium have been making beer for a millennium and with
distinctly different styles to boot: German styles tend to be focused
and precise while Belgium versions are rich and layered. Both
countries are steeped in a wonderful beer making tradition and more
than just a bit of stubbornness about what makes a great beer.
Fortunately, they can agree that beer is meant to be enjoyed with food.
Join us as we attempt to settle the score on these royal brewers. We’ll
be tasting four beers: two from Germany and two from Belgium and
pairing them with a seasonal food menu .
